   Well, no. It doesn't work quite that way. If he's posting non-content repeatedly, first we find out why. If there's no good reason for it (attention whoring), we then ban. We used to perma-ban, but those days are long gone.

   I don't get spammed. I just scroll over anything I'm not interested in reading. It doesn't even register. However, because I'm not the only one here, if a user really is spamming the board then they deserve to be banned and I'm fine with it. The problem there is Lanny is a very unusual specimen. He bans when he shouldn't and doesn't ban when he should. I put the blame directly on his Russian muff hat.

    I don't cape for any user, and I really don't care if a user is a coward or not. Cowards have always been welcome to Totse. It all comes down to the old saying, "if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen". As tired as that saying is, it's still correct. If you have complaints about legitimate spam, then take it to Lanny. He's the one with the ban button.
