Awesome, that sounds like me! Once, at night, a large dog came running towards me, barking -- jumping on me. My friend was scared shitless but I was calm as hell. Only when I thought, "Wait, this dog might bite me" did I start to walk away from the dog, but I was still calm.
I also saw a 19 year old dude getting hit by a car, I was the first at the scene (he ended up dying in the hospital, seven days later, he had been placed in a coma by the hospital staff). My friends, on the other hand, were freaking out.
It's just I have tremors that I can't do anything about, I went to the hospital and the doctor said he could only prescribe medication that works temporarily only. -

2024-02-28 at 3:06 AM UTCI remember one day on my lunch break..I was working first shift at the time
It was a lady with a wheelchair wheel stuck in the train track ..
I hopped out my car and got the wheel loose but it wasn’t easy ..I stayed calm tho ..it’s a busy track so I was scared for her
A city worker saw us hr hopped out his truck but I had already freed the wheel -

I can't take any of the credit, it's my friend who called the ambulance! He even testified in court because it became a crime case, since the driver sped off immediately. But when my friend was freaking out and asking bystanders to call an ambulance, I calmly reminded him that he has a phone himself and that he should call them himself, which he did.
Another situation where others most likely would freak out if it were to happen to them is from a few months ago, when I was talking to someone outside and randomly, a wasp decided to land on my pinky finger. I just let it do its thing, until it decided to fly away. I think it stayed there for at least 30 seconds.
And thank you, Candy!! Much appreciated.
And that was very nice of you to do, good thing you stayed calm! So you were already working as a nurse, did I understand that correctly or..? -

Wtf if this is a real story that's crazy. She must have had balls of steel to try to beat the train across. But then I just went back and you never specified that a train was coming but In my head I imagined you breaking the wheel free in the nick of time, like in the movies
