ive been catching up on old tooby-tooty news. house monstere literary upgrated the game to 1.19 and dleted peoples stuff and reset some chunjks a lot of peepjle didnt like it so he rolld the deletions and chunk resets back. he was all like *mahhh TIGEEEEEEEERR, i'm deurrrrring it again!!! house meistro said he was sorry and honestly that says a lot about him as a admin

how many donators are there ? literary is the performance goodly? afaik the MC server application is still very constrained by single-core performance. i propose we overclock the server to a TDP of around 12 Megawatts and get on a liquid nitrogen delivery schedule to turn that piece of shit up on high. i dont know if this could work in polane but here in Califo we could make it happen biggeley

You been on lately? Wonder if moving to newer version presented any kind of performance / quality-of-experience improvements. WHAT IS THE TPS LIKE TODAY? ( I GUESS I BETTER PACK A JUMPER AND SOME NICKERS ). The server being like 6+ versions behind was a huge turn-off to me, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING. Ppl say it is hosted in Sweden, maybe would have a better experience on an NA server. Is that WURST?

Yup, I played on 1.19.4 fabric WURST and that shit was smooth as butter. Playing single player 1.20 is slow as shit but when another server has to do all the heavy lifting and isn't lagging it feels like playing modern minecraft on a modern gaming PC you can crank the draw distance up to max
I played for a few hours a month ago just to escape spawn more and explore. Everything was good except it took me several hours in queue
hypixel is also force updating skyblock to only work for modern minecraft

Upgrading SkyBlock to support the latest Minecraft features isn't a walk in the park. It requires major backend changes that demand significant developer resources and time. The Hypixel Network is run on code that has been heavily custom made by ourselves, so we can't just jump on modern server software and call it a day. There is so much work necessary to ensure everything remains stable and, well, actually works.
While we've been exploring ways to incorporate the newest Minecraft features into our upcoming content, we've also remained committed to keeping the core game compatible with version 1.8, which creates a lot of problems and heavily slows down the process. We believe, however, that we've made very significant progress regarding this lately.
► What This Means for SkyBlock
Players will need to be on the latest Minecraft version to access the new Foraging Island. While we cannot provide a specific timeline for the island's release, we're sharing this information to encourage players and mod makers to consider updating to the latest Minecraft version. We don't want anyone to miss out on the fun when the update rolls out!
The rest of the game will remain unchanged, with new Minecraft items only available in their modified form to maintain backward compatibility. This will allow players to move between 1.8 and the latest-version islands without any issues.
