Best plumbing material?
-
2024-02-12 at 6:36 PM UTCPlanning on ripping out the copper in my walls as it's 60 years old and there's already access to it.
What is the best choice of material to replace it with?
I don't much care to solder.
I was thinking to try pex as it seems cheap and easy to work with.

2024-02-12 at 6:52 PM UTCPolyVinylChloride also known as plumbers glue, liquid plastic or PVC for short is a synthetic polymer similar to plastic or bakelite but is non toxic , non leeching BPA free and used widely in pipeing and other such uses replacing the historical use of heavy metal like lead or copper
PVC Glue Solvent Cement 500mL. Price $33.79 / EA ... 35 - 50% Tetrahydrofuran, 35 - 50% Methyl Ethyl Ketone, 20 - 40% Acetone, 5 - 20% PVC, 1 - 10% Cyclohexanone ..
YOu can use Cyclohexanone to make PCP clandestinely so if you start a PVC factory you have a legal reason to order 500kg of it. -
