im not joking. im not sure exactly why it is but i definitely can relate more to womens perspective more then mens and while there are definitely a LOT of people of both sexes who are dumb/obnoxious, it seems to me that its almost impossible to talk to most men because they generally just cut you off before you finish speaking and respond to something random that is tangentially related to whatever the topic is but not really, or they wanna try to metaphorically size you up or like compete with you instead of just converse. generally, they overestimate their intelligence while women rarely do.
it seems to me like women are generally more intelligent for whatever reason but the prevailing status quo assumed belief is just that men rule the world so it kinda is like a self fulfilling prophecy. i remember when i took all my math and engineering classes, the classes were probably about 80% male or so id say but the 20% female demographic seemed to almost always be exceptionally intelligent and had a mentality that was very well suited for learning those types of things. im not sure why this is but basically guys are hard to talk to, i think maybe they are scared of their facade crumbling incase you appear smarter or better than them in some way so they nervously do things to control the conversation into lighthearted things or things that they know about, whereas females are "not expected" to be really smart or go getters or anything (not saying it should be this way but just that it kinda still is despite it being less that way than it used to be) so theyre just more down to earth and real.
