West Africa is slowly but surely falling out of French influence

Pictured below is a map of Africa, the shaded countries have had successful coups in between 2020-2023.
France already closed it's embassy in Niger due to their inability to "fullfill [their] mission".
Furthermore the Alliance of Sahel States, while weak when compared to ECOWAS, still has rendered west africa as a multipolar region, leaving the once almost entirely unified (at least under ECOWAS) region up for whichever nation (besides France) wants to influence them. An example of this would be Russia's Wagner group's operations in the Sahel, and Chinese foreign investment into African Nations.
I typed this in a hurry and am not proofreading it so have fun.
