so this am I went to get in my truck and broke the door handle on the drivers side,, I already broke the one on the passenger side 3 days after i bought the truck,, it came with a warning that they were getting close to breaking as are all 20 year old tacoma's living in cold winter areas. now replacinf the exterior handles on a tacoma is more work than changing the clutch on a tacoma so its not something you can just go out and change in a few minutes so I said fuck it I dont need what I was getting in the truck for and went sledding for the day. so after i got home i took a relaxing break for an hr and then went out to try to get into the truck, I had to go in from the back and luckily i had the back window open and got lucky because before 2002 they had a double sliding window unlike 2003 and newer only having one sliding window, so I had to take my coat off and open both windows all the way and I managed to get my fat ass through the window and into the truck, the door was so frozen from driving it in the rain yesterdayy that I had to slem the door with my whole body about 6 times to break it free and get it open.. anyways i left the window to the door open with a drop cloth covering it so I can reach in and open the door for the rest of the winter. oh and then I had to use a big ass digging tool to clear the snow away from my house door so it would open and close cuz ricky used to take care of that shit but he isnt here anymore to handle the house/ yard work. I need a new rick
