The earliest known evidence comes from 7,000 BCE in China, where residue in clay pots has revealed that people were making an alcoholic beverage from fermented rice, millet, grapes, and honey.
Just realised now that I did two plays in primary school, dunno why I only remembered one all this time. I was shy so got the rubbish roles like a caterpillar in Alice in wonderland. I remember freezing on stage because I got too distracted watching it.
