I stopped playing Rogue Trader because of bugs and now idk what to play. BattleTech was fun for a couple dozen hours, but the overhaul mod I ended up using to flesh it out more made the game laggy as shit and made the missions take forever. I guess I could try one of the less intensive overhauls, but the one I was using had exactly the content I wanted (although I could take or leave the 'tabletop purist' aspects). 😮💨
BG3 is an option, but it lowkey annoys the shit out of me sometimes. Dorf Fortress? I guess?

the humor in borderlands was always kinda over the top on purpose I thought but when they slowly lean into story elements and try to be serious I think it falls flat versus the first one that I don't remember having this problem at all

I love/hate it. It's like a significantly worse version of EYE from another universe where they had the Warhammer license back when that came out. Also the singleplayer is kinda cancer. There's definitely a "git gud" angle to my problems with it, but man... slowly stomping around a bunch of (beautiful, atmospheric) Warhammer ship interiors while getting face raped by rocket launcher-wielding genestealer hybrids is irritating as hell. My last run of mission 2 ended with me mopping up some rocket launcher dudes and then getting bumrushed by some suicide bomber fuckhead and dying before my stupid AI teammate managed to trundle his fat ass over to stab me in the face with his narthecium. Instantly uninstalled.

Necromunda looks interesting and it's apparently also by the EYE dev, but my information on it is out of date (to around the time it came out) and it seemed buggy last I heard. Maybe fixed since, but I also can't really afford it atm either way so it's all moot ig.

Yeah ive played a tad of the rest of the Borderlands but it just feels like wanting a drink of water and only getting a damp sponge. They redo the same jokes like some autistic fuck at every holiday dinner, the writing is terrible. The characters, skill trees offer zero variety. Playing multi with the boyz on xbox live was a beautiful thing
