Thinking about therapy

    I used to see a psychologist in the past but didn't open up. Last February I saw a counselor but stopped going because I thought I was coming across as psycho. I'd just talk about crazy things in a calm tone. I don't think I'm capable of of being vulnerable and maybe something psycho protects me. At this point I can only see small things being helped like false beliefs I've adopted. But I know there are different kinds of therapies that I don't know of yet and hypnosis has helped me. Since I can't see myself completely objectively I was wondering if anyone has ideas.

    I need to sort out identity issues, find out if I really have DDNOS and if it's possible for me to have one identity in the future despite the past.

    I've literally never seen someone go to a psychiatrist and come out saying 'oh wow I feel better' literally ever. Shits the quack world of medical science and all real doctors know it. Sure all the hard pharmodynamics and shit can be tweaked in a brain but these mother fuckers don't know what you need so they just throw shit at the wall and see what sticks and in the meantime your taking retard pills. The only thing psychiatrists are good for are suboxone/benzos/amphetamines and I mean that as literally as possible

    They're often ugly women though so I do come out feeling a little better about myself. It makes me think about their issues and that I don't have it so bad.

    they dont call it theRAPIST for nothing

    people who have problems generally already know what they need to do to get better, they just dont want to do it. then just like, dont do it and dont bitch about it. why pretend like you dont know and then go pay some fool $100 an hour to listen to you talk and try to guide you into thinking about what you need to do? YOU ALREADY KNOW. most mental problems can be solved by:

    1. stopping addictions like drugs/alcohol/nicotine/sugar/overeating/social media
    2. getting in shape or at least doing some regular exericse
    3. cutting out the leeches and mental 4th graders

    until you do those things theres absolutely no point in seeing a therapist because youre just lying to yourself and purposefully hindering yourself. also if part of your daily routine involved purposefully inflicting trauma on others for fun, you're probably going to fuck yourself up there too.

    unfortunately if you do all those things you still might end up bitter and alone and shit because most people want to run around acting like 3rd graders and getting fucked up and doing fucked up shit because weve all been programmed to some degree to by the shit culture we grew up in. thats just the way it is though and a therapist still isnt going to help you with that.

    people who praise therapy are almost never ok. seriously, look at people who say that therapy helped them, most of them are still really fucked up. i think therapy is sometimes incidental in someones process of recovery from something and maybe that leads to them believing therapy helped a lot, and maybe for some people who are really clueless or stuck bad or something it might help but for 95% of people...nah

    I can't imagine what I'd be like without hypnosis. I don't heal from things on my own hypnosis does everything. I think I'm addicted to it.

    Now that I think about it I was hypnotised to take inspiration from Greek mythology when dealing with foes, and autists can take hypnotic suggestions literally.

    And what party should I expect to see you in the running for? Seriously tho if more people had this mentality we wouldn't have joe Biden sniffing kids and doing coke.

    But I will totally agree to the sentiment that humans are social beings and being able to just talk to someone about bullshit is helpful, at least for me, and if you have to do that with a paid professional then so be it. There is literal science proving that social interactions and brain stimulation from other human beings is extremely beneficial to the brain and I actually equaite 3 specific things to my success in 'treatment' or as I like to call it, not being a shit scumbag human heroin drug dumpster literally is housing, 'therapy' which I actually consider anything beneficial to mental health[daily routine, family interaction, petting a stray cat, working out], and opioid replacement therapy in my case, because idk I'm a bitch but I'm working on it.

    But yah being fully honest about all that shit and realizing it is like the first step and I feel like ur just not there but ur pretty young from what it seems


    Tldr; human social interactions repair brain synapses and shit basically I'm a doctor trust me

    Yeah I stopped going to therapy, started working out more, socializing, working more, eating better, and stopped watching porn. I feel fantastic everyday now. Thanks for nothing, therapy. Yeah therapy can get you a psychiatrist that can prescribe you Xans or suboxone or diazepam or whatever, but at that point I'd rather just use bromazolam and not have to pay for the service of a psychiatrist, just for the med.

    I'm surprised you aren't engaged with mental health services tbh. You probably should be, but based on what you post here you'd need to be careful. I don't think anyone here cares if you try to rape men behind the nightclub or maim your in-laws, but if you tell some shrink about that he'll write it down as violent fantasy ideation or some shit.
