KSA, Bahrain and Egypt Cut Ties with Qatar

Is this real life? They're accusing Qatar of supporting and fomenting terrorism, which is about the most ironic thing I've heard all week.
Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are the two biggest sponsors (except maybe Turkey) of terrorism in the middle east, specifically funding groups like ISIS and Al Nusra which are, more or less umbrella organisations that the vast majority of active terrorist groups fall under.
The real reason for this is likely Qatar's recent change of heart, looking to find common ground with Iran as opposed to supporting Saudi Arabia in their (doomed) effort to assert themselves as the sole regional power.
A big part of this is that Saudi Arabia knows their oil reserves are not unlimited, and once they hit peak supply (if they haven't already) it's only a matter of time before Iran overtakes them, which would kill the petrodollar economy. They have done little to diversify their economy and in many ways are already failing (massive number of overpaid public sector workers that have little to no work to actually do versus being unable to pay the slave caste who perform all of the infrastructure construction and maintenance)... They know that losing control of the oil market would kill their setup, and even though it's eventually inevitable they want to drag it out as much as possible.
Qatar on the other hand was built on oil wealth but understand that it's not an infinite resource, so they've been diversifying as much as possible to the point where oil income only makes up around 20% (from memory) of their GDP. The Emir's recent statements seem to imply that he recognises that they will not be prime suppliers forever, and that they want to be friendly, rather than antagonistic toward countries that are likely to overtake them in that regard. -

The Saudi-led coalition has announced that Qatar’s participation in its joint military operation in Yemen has been canceled. The coalition’s statement accused Doha of supporting the Al-Qaeda and Islamic State terrorist groups.

i dont know what the real reason is, im not 'in the know' enough to guess...but what i do know is that, with 100% certainty, if the term 'supporting terrorism' is used, its guaranteed to not be the real reason. MINITRU propaganda and newspeak...thats all it is. saudi is about hypocritical considering their role in fomenting the strife in bahrain a year or so ago...bringing in mercs and all that shit.
OPEC and saudi are no longer relevant the way they were before oil shale extraction technology was improved. theyre now little more than sand nigger infested sub-third world shitholes...regardless of their infrastructure. (Ive been deployed to riyahd...ive seen first hand what a shit hole the place is. there are houses that literally have no roofs)
