theres this idea that the human mind builds functional models based on how it interacts with reality and that those models only develop enough complexity and accuracy to sufficiently explain whatever your daily life needs to explain. so like wrt physics, most people understand things like velocity or acceleration to a perfectly fine degree to get through their day, to drive a car around and avoid getting in a crash, so they think they understand those concepts til they take a calculus based mechanics course and then you realize they are actually a lot more complicated than you thought and you see examples of weird shit that happens in different scenarios and you think its amgic or a trick or something because its so foreign to your current models of how shit works, but in reality its not a trick or magic or misrepresentation, its the way its always worked, you just never needed to account for that scenario so your intuitively developed model of mechanics totally excluded it.
this is a scientific example but this concept is similar for everyones thinking in all aspects of life. you wont understand me and you dont need to if you dont want to. you can think of it as a defect, thats fine by me. just dont expect me to agree or to change to fit the models you think i should just because you cannot understand something you have never had the prerequisite experiences to be able to.

theres nothing inherently wrong with owning a TV but if you need it as a necessary prerequisite to forming any sort of relationship then those relationships are totally counterfeit. if your family leaves u if you get rid of the tv they were never family in the first place. i mean ffs can people just like go for a walk in the park with someone since its scenic, healthy, chill and enjoyable and actually conducive to real conversation and getting to know someone better rather than just putting on some nonsense hour long commercial, numbing your minds out so you dont have to think about what youre actually doing with your time/life because if you did you'd feel bad about it due to obvious reasons. fuck. I have an 85 inch TV that is amazing and better than theatre quality and an amazing 7.2 surround sound system because I like it and I can watch Jason And The Argonauts on it and it rules.

and 2 years ago I would have laughed at TCL but they're in the top 3 brands now according to Consumers guide.
Sony is losing it's place as did Samsung tv. and Vizeo of all brands is second tier. i think LG Oled was top choice
vizeo was the shit brand like 20 years ago. My first LED flat screen was one and it sucked so fucking much. burned in image.
