   girlfriend dislocated her knee a few years back, it tore some ligaments and she needed surgery to fix it, they couldn't reattach the ligament to the bone so they had to drive a spike in and attach the ligament to that
   
   looking into it tendons are more likely to heal by themselves but it's still something to take seriously if it hurts a lot and/or messes with movement

   It seems to be healing fine so far, i just wanted to make sure it would actually be ok if i didnt go to medical professional
