Raspberry Pi 5

I don’t get why you’d even need NVMe with a raspberry pi

If you don't get why, then why even join in on the conversation? as that would imply a irrelevance to you.

Because I was curious, it’s not an attack it’s a question. Jeez ur sensitive, it’s a public message board anybody can comment on anything.

Raspberry Pis have shit throughput. That means that, for instance, in a NAS application even if you have a fast hard drive with gigabit ethernet, you're still going to get bad performance because the hardware just isn't fast enough to take the data read from the drive and stuff it down the ethernet tube.

for something like that you'd probably be better off just setting up a ramdisk

I figured this might be useful for applications that need to constantly load large amounts of data, like a database cache or some kind of bruteforce cracker

Why would you use a Raspberry Pi in a NAS application where throughout matters and how on earth would accessing an NVME through a daughter board help with throughput? You would still be limited at the bus.

how did everyone on here become experts in electronic boards and components. even Fona is tinkering with shit.

I worked at an electronic store some 9 years back and didn't know jack off and had to wing it selling parts to people.

The reason why i brought up this NVMe build is because

    SD CARDS

They suck, and nobody will change my mind.

the Data on tf and SD cards go corrupt after so many uses or over time. it's like a video VHS tape that starts losing data. it becomes fragmented or some shit. it then just stops working or loading.

I can't even reformat the fucking things.

I bet this is a lure or trawl by Lanny whos been corrupting my files whenever I log onto this site

it's just shitty cheap memory; they expect sectors to go bad and use firmware to compensate for it

    Out of Fort Hood too.

ask me how I know (fam)

Nidal Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others. It was the deadliest mass shooting on an American military base and the deadliest terrorist attack in the United States since the September 11 attacks until it was surpassed by the San Bernardino attack in 2015.

Hows that for a Rant, Fugly
