2023-11-11 at 12:29 PM UTCi needed an extension cord yesterday and saw this string of xmas lights i found in the trash once and thought of this thread because i was like oh, xmas lights are basically just an extension cord with decorations. but then the drill cord diddnt fit in the hole

Christmas lights usually have little fuses which makes them pretty much only good for plugging in other Christmas lights.
You can probably get away with some little stuff but I wouldn't try using Christmas lights as an extension cord for my table saw. -

The demand for christams lights is likely somewhat inelastic. This means that people are willing to pay a higher price because their demand changes less than with other goods when the price per unit increases. People feel obligated to buy christmas decor, so they are willing to spend a pretty penny on it. -

I don't know...there's so much nut-fuckery in that religion going on that she told me about I can't keep track. They're really, really fucking hard-core about their sinning so there has to me some sort of penance they do -
