thats one way to see it.
the way i see it he started this in order to consolidate his power and get everyone behind him, and the sooner he gets the invasion started the sooner his cabinet would have no choice other than to rally behind him.
anyway the one party with the most to lose should the gaza invasion commense would be the US and its military. its entire military base and embassy in the middle east, turkiye included, would come under sphincter attack.
and then its going to spread west, into north africa, and then south.
the hastier yahoo push into gaza the less time there is for the US to prepare their military and diplomatic establishment to work things out and avoid these sphincter attacks or at least ... evacuate.

Remember it was months after 9/11 before the US really went into Afghanistan, and years before invading Iraq (despite it being decided for them the day of 9/11, the same way the Patriot Act was handed to them all ready to sign).
And no one who has any power in this sick dynamic gives a fuck if US bases are attacked and US troops die. It actually benefits them, cos it can be used to justify their warmongering and their budgets.
And identity matters. Look at all the jedis living in the West who have no intention of ever going near Israel or living there support it and call it "home". I've never been, but from what I know about jedis and what I have heard about Israel it's a disgusting place full of rude, disgusting and horrible people. Not even jedis want to be around other jedis if they have any choice in the matter.
People are tribal. From our perspective I think the most important thing is to remember, jedis and Arabs hate us as much as they hate each other and want to humiliate, undermine and punish us, even as they insist on living among us. The Commerce Department did not provide further details for the pause, which also includes shotguns and optical sights, but said an urgent review will assess the "risk of firearms being diverted to entities or activities that promote regional instability, violate human rights, or fuel criminal activities."
The Commerce Department declined to comment beyond the posting on its website.
The halt covers most of the guns and ammunition that could be purchased in a U.S. gun store, said Johanna Reeves, a lawyer who specializes in export controls and firearms with the law firm Reeves & Dola in Washington.
Reeves said she had not seen the Commerce Department take such a sweeping action like this before. "For sure they have individual country policies – but nothing like this," she said. -

The Lake City ammo plant is owned by the US Government, but operated by Olin Winchester. Winchester produces ammo and sells it to the government.
When the facility is able to produce more ammo than the government requires, they sell it either to consumers or distributors.

Despite what the war hawks in the US government and media will have you believe, there is absolutely no reason why china would invade Taiwan. It’s in both countries’ interests to maintain the status quo. The majority of the Taiwanese people agree, they don’t have any strong desire for independence only a small minority is advocating for that, and a similar minority advocates unification. Most want the status quo maintained.
The only scenario where an invasion would make sense would be in the context of some wider conflict where control over the region’s waterways and shipping lanes would be strategically important. But that’s not happening.
China is already Taiwan’s largest trade partner and their economies are tightly intertwined, an invasion would trigger sanctions and disruption of the global supply chain such that the costs would far outweigh any benefits gained in the near and long term. They wouldn’t risk all this for some kind of “national pride” or unification whatever the fuck.
Why don’t you notice the obvious propaganda being shoved down your throat? Don’t you believe the US did 9/11? And you don’t believe they would lie to you about china?
