like someone buys a pair of shoes and returns them and they just sanitise them and resale them 40% off but probably paid 10 cents to the dollar and make a nice markup.

other shit is off brand and shit you can find on Temu for 1/3rd. only problem is temu takes 2 weeks to deliver. if you're not in a hurry then Temu is worth buying stuff off of. like 8 out of 10 things is decent quality while its OK or shit with the other 20. but you can return to them as well. they give you credit back.

also a new account you get a big percentage off as first buyer.

really? I worked there for 2 weeks and left because they sucked so much. they do sell this shit. And I know about the pallet purchases. the history of the store is really just a dollar store or "5 and dime" that they were once called out of Wisconsin. Something about a Polish immigrant and I believed eventually he expanded and then got backing by Mervyns (or JC Pennys) to resale their returned items. you watch their company history videos before going to work. like they pay you to watch 3 hours of video on the first day and then send you home. I took that Job before quitting for another better paying job.

he would resale shit by JC pennys and Mervyn stores from purchasing return pallets. and currently I have seen off brands just stacked on endcaps like Walmart does. So don't just make some blanketed comment like that. you clearly don't know what the fuck you're talking about or just lying
