If you slice open a major artery in your leg...

2017-05-31 at 8:54 PM UTCHow long until you bleed out? Today i was just sitting on a bench smoking a cig looking down at my feet like a sperg and since i am so white i am almost transparent i could see one big ass vein/artery in the calf area of my leg. I thought, dang, that is one big ass vein. And you know i would slice it open myself just to find out, but i am not sure how i feel about bleeding to death.

assuming no one attempts to stop the bleeding...the length of time between actually being 'opened' and death depends on so many different factors it is almost impossible to say based on what you described. exsanguination is more complicated than the limited info you posted.
even if the blood vessel in the calf is completely, through and through severed, death from cardiac arrest due to the heart running out of 'juice' is almost impossible to tell because of different physiologies between different people. get a group a people with the exact same wound, as described, and at one end of the spectrum could be cardiac failure in a minute, at the other end could be someone who can run half a marathon before expiring. -

I suppose you're right. I remember checking out a video on Youtube though where a guy was shot in a major artery in the leg. He expeired pretty rapidly. But of course a gunshot wound is different than a cut. YMMV -

Gunshot wounds, if they don't go all the way through, are better to get than knife wounds because they plug themselves up. -

Stopping the bleeding obviously makes a big difference. -

GSWs are a crap shoot too. no pun intended. a high velocity rifle round, especially one that expands, and even more especially fragments, will fuck a blood vessel up royally if it passes closely enough. on the same note...blood vessels are very tough and comparitively speaking they're very difficult to perforate or puncture. example...the 'black talons' bullets with the sharp edges were over hyped by the media. of all the things I ever dug the expanded rounds out of, not a single one had any different damage, especially to blood vessels, than something that had a 'regular' jacket and mushroom/semi-fragmented sharpness. fucking fake news. -

stfu.
I mean literally...take as many well endowed niggers as you can find...and cram every one of their dicks into your cock socket until your throat is so distended you look like you have thyroid disease.
fucking idiot.
if there were mods on this site I would tell them to delete your post because it's the fucking retardedest shit that has ever been posted on the internets in all the history of ever.
fucking idiot. -

would you prefer to be stabbed in a place that is not immediately lethal and have the knife pulled out immediately, or shot there with a small caliber bullet? -
2017-06-01 at 1:24 AM UTCFemoral Artery upper thigh, groin region would take about a minute to bleed out.
death would come quickly. You would pass out with in seconds though. so it would make it very difficult for you to respond by applying pressure so pray someone else is near by.
