Wouldnt Russia have an easy time doing just that? Easy access to seized weapons. All its current friendly countries pretty much support Palestine. And a simple move like that would seriously damage faith in the US, and also split its attention and resources- allowing them to make greater gains in Ukraine.
Maybe im thinking too simply, but even if Russia were completely found out, there are layers of plausible deniability, and the US has proven wed rather play proxy war than take any serious hardline stances.

in a practical sense Russia has a lot of vested interest in israel even though they're partnered with Iran, and there are a lot of pro-israeli J'ews sitting on levers of power in both the government and among the oligarchs
