anyway I'm thinking about the IDF's inevitable incursion into Gaza. they got stepped on by Hez last time they tried to enter Lebanon, now they're going to try and hammer down a hostile population with a land border to a hostile state.
they were completely blindsided, their strategic munitions stocks are low thanks to the US sending them to the Ukraine and they're likely very demoralised given all the media Hamas has been releasing - one of their invincible Merkavas was killed by a $50 drone and a Soviet RPG from the 70s, the Iron Dome couldn't stop a bunch of assholes with parachutes and lawnmowers, and their military installations got absolutely blitzed with plenty of video showing the soldiers cowering and the women (whose military experience probably amounted to making lewd tik tok videos to drive recruitment) being taken as war brides if not smashed to bits.

Hamas has officially rejected a ceasefire on this basis, stating they 'know' that israel's munitions are down almost 80% and they're not going to allow them the time to fill the gap -

you dont know that for sure. as always with geoconflicts nothing are what they appear to be. its like opening up a swiss watch and you have no idea which gear is turning which cog and in turn turns what else.
as far as i could remember no one said merkeva is "invincible" other than isreali defense industry and their salesmen.
on the matter of AD, not even S500 could deal with a saturation of missiles be they improvised or industrial, ballistic or linear.
anyway someone could just be you know, following this, down to dotting the last t.

he should have :
1- recognize the independence of LDNR.
2- fast track these 2 new allies into CSTO. doesnt matter if the motion was approved in time or not, its the intention that mattered.
3- wait patiently for AFU to launch their attack on LDNR just like how the US waited for 9/11 and pearl harbor before that. sure, some civilians will die, but i dont think they are going to die more than they are dying in the current SMO.
4- if and when the AFU started to attack LDNR russia can either summon the collective "peace" keeping force of the CSTO or go alone to defend LDNR.
5- of course they will be blow back and russians/LDNR are going to blame putin and russian intelligence for failing to detect and prevent an attack on LDNR, which putin can easily apologize by saying he was wrong to have acted in good faith that the rapid accension of LDNR into the CSTO alone was enough to prevent such an occurence.
6- go all out/in a full blown war instead of half assed SMO.
7- deny any hostile country all energy export.
8- accept nothing less than unconditional surrender.
move the variables here and there and you get the oicture. only time will tell which cog is spinning which gears for which hand's profit. -
