this is a partial explanation for lannys defectiveness.

i'm pretty sure lanny eats meat and thats not a sexual innuendo
he is however , a staunch communist that invented his own fork of communism called "marxist lannyism"

Originally posted by Lanny JMT is a guilty pleasure of mine. The production is kinda brain dead and pop-y, at least relative to the way people act like it's some amazing thing. The vocal delivery is pretty distinctive and I really like it, it just gets ruined by really cringey lyrics sometimes. There's a lot of moralizing, and even if I agree with the point I've always thought using music to try and push some political or moral opinion, especially in a super obvious way like trying to put a moral argument into a rhyme structure, is a huge turn off. Sure, social commentary has always been a function of art, but I can't help but feel like this particular flavor of commentary carries the implicit assertion that like "no, you're not smart enough to form an opinion by looking at evidence of a long form argument, you need a cheap beat and catchy lyrics in order to appreciate what I'm saying".

personally I can agree with a lot of the points of not supporting a kike industry like factory farming, as I grew up in the heart of the praries and ranchlands and I see factory farms and immigrants replacing the humble family run cattle ranch.
The world is truly disgusting , but meat is delicious. folx??? -

2024-02-29 at 12:36 AM UTCGood thread, Zanick. I support the idea of vegetarianism due to the caring for animals, but at the same time, there's a sense of hypocrisy coming from my side, because I eat meat. I do feel bad for them, of course, but apparently not bad enough to avoid meat altogether. I do avoid certain meat, such as the meat of the young. That's why I don't eat lamb meat and I have made it a point that such meat is not allowed in the fridge at my family's home simply because I think it's a special kind of cruel to slaughter the young for consumption. I feel less bad about an older animal that gets slaughtered, but obviously they should be slaughtered in such a way that they do not feel any pain. Otherwise, if I know an animal has been mistreated, I wouldn't buy the product. But there's no way of ever knowing, so ignorance is bliss. Having said that, I don't buy meat from the supermarkets since I'm not allowed to eat it from there, but straight from the butcher shop. I know factories that supermarkets get their meat from aren't doing the animals any favor so I'm glad I don't buy it from there. Then again, the butcher is only responsible of cutting up the meat in pieces to sell it to the masses, they don't actually slaughter the animals themselves. I can only hope they have been slaughtered in a painless manner.
