Yeah, the Dutch are known to be very direct. They won't beat around the bush and get straight to the point. Most people don't like that. And I've also noticed girls prefer to wear sneakers to the club hahaha. And it's also true that they expect you to socialize with them instead of the other way around. Maybe an idea is to find an area where there's expats from the UK? That could make you feel at home more. -

I like that.
Dutch people are very polite too. I used to work with two dutch people. They'd speak in English to each other, and someone said "why aren't you speaking dutch"? They said it was as respect to the rest of us so we could understand.
No other immigrant group does that. -

Eventually you will realise what you were looking for was available right at home and all you had to do was calm down and settle. That's kinda what I am realising. I kinda wonder how I didn't just relax a little and enjoy life more when I was younger. -

Nah they have bigger dicks in NL. I want to live in a small cold country or with weather similar to Ireland, where euthanasia and those lsd truffles are legal, where there's goth clubs and forests, mountains and waterfalls, 24/7 McDonald's and gender equality, where you can get coke delivered at 6am, where it's mostly white, where there's autism awareness and acceptance that it's a difference, democracy, where women wear heels and dress like skanks on nights out and wear designer during the day. -

Hahaha that reminds me of Turks. They're the total opposite. They always speak Turkish (horrible language, tbh) with each other even if you're there. It'd be tolerable if their language sounded nice like Farsi (Persian) does, but unfortunately it's just ear abuse. -
