the Armenians are now asking the US for help which is an interesting proposition - it could be useful for them to try to split Russia's focus on the Ukraine but the Azeris are overtly backed by Turkey, another NATO member

oh boy
in other news the US Army has come out and said the voluntary/mercenary model is no longer feasible and a draft is likely the only way to keep combat troops at an acceptable level -
2023-09-20 at 6:09 PM UTCactually they clearly specify COMPETENT combat troops, they have far less problems filling administrative roles

I looked into the matter and all US men are required to sign up for the selective service at age 18. And it's based on you're birth gender so if you change there's not a loophoyl
Also fuys , have the medical ships left yet? Ps I thought they were gonna make me be GI Joe but i'm 2 old to get drafted up real easyThe lottery: A lottery based on birthdays determines the order in which registered men are called up by Selective Service. The first to be called, in a sequence determined by the lottery, will be men whose 20th birthday falls during the calendar year the induction takes place, followed, if needed, by those aged 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 19 and 18 year olds (in that order).
but fuvk it man if some dudes in suits want me to bring more death and destruction to a third world country *raises hand* THE NAMES BROOMKEy ILLDO THE JOB *does the duck waddle and queefs in front of the BOUDIN SAUSAGE BOYz at MEPS -
2023-09-20 at 7:59 PM UTCAshton-Cirillo has been suspended at work. Very unfair just for displaying a little spunk in her attitude to the Vatnik fascists.
Poland is cutting off arms to Ukraine and comparing Zelensky to a drowning man.
One commander admitted an 80% casualty rate for recruits from last year.
And Russia is planning a three pronged offensive over the winter.
Seems to be all going badly for Ukraine (or at least the jedi Kyiv regime) and their dumbass irrational cockiness and sense of entitlement has pissed literally everyone off.
But at least _elensky has his priorities in order : while 1,000 gentile men a day die in ditches he's off lecturing the UN about Climate Change.

its understandable how you are unable to see the bigger startegic picture due to your background as a lowly grunt whose job is to shove heavy leads into the anus of big guns with you're fist,
just want to illuminate the fact that had russians marched into kyiv in 3 days or 3 weeks NATO and US specifically would NOT have been disarmed to the level theyre gettin' disarmed right now.
NATO, which is the military tentacle of the US over europe is now out of essential stock of conventional artilery rounds. had to send in the banned clusters after it had also used up the supply from its vassal of feminine korea.
the West has also proudly paraded the uselessness of their wonderwaffle as brazenly as gays parade their homosexuality during gay pride parade. none of their mine clearing vehicles work. "mine resistant" MRAPs succumbing to mines at the first encounter. Bradeleys on fire here and there, Leopards were proven to be fair weather tanks. British Challengers were battle challenged, cant be sent to the front lines and when they do, they burn up brighter than soviet tanks.
the most advance linear missile in europe that is the british storm shadow now have had its profile registered by the russian air defense and are now readily interceptable, it now glows on russian AD radar screen like a registered chiid sex offender glows in a prison,
not only the attriting SMO reveals the uselessness of the western armament, but also the cluelessness of the western military establishment. all ukrainian troops that were trainned by NATO fought far worse than those following soviet doctrines. NATO instructors were proven to be inexperienced and had no idea how to fight in this kind of war and are far worse than veterans that have been fighting the LDNR militias since 2014. its like consulting a virgin on how to sex and ending up doing anal.
and these are just some of the things that happen on the battleground. what happened and is happening on the geopolitical stage during the 18 months of the SMO will require another thread of its own and another 20 thousand words to elucidate.
the telling part is what your not telling. -

2023-09-21 at 4:20 AM UTCRussia tried to go to Kiev and flip the government in the first few weeks, it didn't work so they fell back on plan B which was 'demilitarisation' (to grind down the AFU to the point where it's no longer an effective force) and 'denazification' (to destroy and delegitimise the anti-Russian political structure). it's not a quick process, especially considering Ukraine had probably the largest and most capable conventional military (corruption issues aside) west of Russia even before NATO started building them up in 2014, and so far they've burned through their pre-war hardware, the Soviet-era hardware that states like Poland, Lithuania etc. gave them, and a lot of the NATO hardware the EU and US have been shipping in, not to mention the munitions and consumables required for their upkeep

2023-09-22 at 12:05 AM UTClooks like Poland will no longer be directly supplying Ukraine with arms, a combination of it being a money pit and the Ukrainian government attempting to flood the market with what Poland considers low-quality and possibly even toxic grain. I wonder how this will affect the arms flowing from other states considering Poland is a major transit hub
