Britain has dispatched military planes to protect grain ships coming from Ukraine as the future of the UN-backed deal to provide a safe passage for the exports of agricultural produce remains uncertain after its suspension by Russia.
“We will use our intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance to monitor Russian activity in the Black Sea, call out Russia if we see warning signs that they are preparing attacks on civilian shipping or infrastructure,” the UK government said in a statement on Friday.

Hey speaking of that can you tell me anything about this supposed Russian “analyst” named Valery Solovey. I keep seeing this name pop up as the origin of such claims as Prigozhin didn’t die it was a body double, and that Putin has cancer and could go any day now, shit like that.
Like these are pretty huge conspiracy theories that seem highly implausible with very little evidence, that I keep seeing popping up all over hack media outlets as if it’s a fact and they always seem to trace back to this ONE guy who has like a 3 sentence Wikipedia article. What’s his story and where is he and wtf am I reading?

it's just how they create a narrative, very similar to Trump's piss rampage in the Steele Dossier - they cultivate someone who would plausibly have insight or authority in the area and have them tell a story. that person tells the story to low-credibility outlets who will repeat anything, and more respected outlets pick it up, quoting VoA and MEDUZA. at the point where WaPo and NYT start repeating it it's sensational enough that most people don't care about the source, and by the time it comes out it was all nonsense most people have lost interest in the story anywayThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
