I have access to a charitable trust fund that can donate up to $50,000 USD to any given 501c3 per year. The Desert Road Riders do massive amounts of charitable work for under privileged kids in Mohave County. Every year they have a toy run in October (not Toys for Tots). This year they just picked up another 75 kids in nearby Dolan Springs. I have used my access to facilitate a $50k donation to the run this year. Funds will be disbursed in about 2 weeks. I have cemented their support for my place for years to come along with all of their supporters and affiliated clubs. I am also working on the same amount for a local youth basketball league for poor kids. They are going to use the money to promote a tournament named after my place. The free advertisement and goodwill in the community at large will be priceless and it hasn't cost me a penny just a few phone calls, a half a dozen or so emails, and a couple of face to face meetings. -

how does giving toys to poor kids help them in anyway to overcome their adversity ?
are they suffering from toys defficiencies ?
and how does basketballs help underpriviledged kids and youths to lift themselves out of poverty ? does it help them with their career ? what are their odds of gaining lucrative employment if they are white, on any level be it state or national ?
how many career basketball players have you met. -
