Lanny, do you have a vague memory of when I posted, possibly in a relevant thread, an idea I'd had for a while as the most effective torture method? It involved using substances in animal studies, mainly on rats, that induced apoptosis, cell death, for certain receptors in the brain. This is used, for example to study how what developmental and behavioral differences may arise from a complete lack of serotonin. I won't reiterate it, but it came to me when I realized that you could increase a person's capacity for suffering and trap them into a nightmarish perpetual state, without reprieve, where they would be locked in and forcibly, cruelly, kept alive in a hospital for the rest of their lives.

I'm not sure - typically there's a big margin between threshold and blackout with benzos, then a rather small margin between blackout and lethal CNS suppression so you'd have to be very careful with dosage. Mixing with another GABAergic like GHB would cause blackouts at much lower dosese but also significantly raises chance of death.
Opioids are a better option if you're able to administer naloxone or similar while they're out - as I understand it there's no antidote for benzos that A) works if they've already made it to the bloodstream and B) works as quickly as naloxone -

Unfortunately yes. IDK WTF it is but I don't think I've stayed asleep for longer than 90 minutes this year..by the time I wake up for the 9th time in 3-4 hours I'm so irritated I'm like fuck it I'm up for the day/night. Which reminds me again need to cop some bars.
