Folks my neighbor when I had the door open heard me come home to my dog chewing my remote controller.
It was in pieces so I looped the remaining cord and proceeded to swat him 4 times on the ass.
He destroyed my only computer charger the day I started college.
A 10 inch looped cord isn't gonna hurt you as much as fear woo discipline you, feels the same I remember.
Someone said that's animal abuse I was like you think I rather whip my dog a couple times with a power cable than have an electrocuted dog when I come home, you dumbass bitch. Want me to call CPS tomorrow? Raise your fucking kids not my dog.

And yeah if someone says anything to me about informing or reporting or telling I think
"Do they have kids?"
And make a phone call to child protective services when open to open a can of worms for them

I don't see anything wrong with smacking a dog on the ass but only if you catch them in the act chewing something up. If you come home and they chewed it up before you got there and you smack them they might not understand why. I learned the hard way with mine anything I don't want destroyed I need to put up where she can't get to it.
