I think the number is accurate but i'm not sure about how even that "rough split is"
because if you take the official numbers and minus that from 100k the leftover number seems like a realistic amount of ukraine casualties to me but I have not been looking at the data at all

numbers are significantly higher than that, especially after the most recent counteroffensyiv
you can't really make a serious estimate at this point though given the only people collecting data are participants in an active war that have a vested interest in exaggerating the enemy's losses -

I heard it was 20k killed in Bakhmut and that was a supposed leak from a Russian military guy, which would explain why everyone calls it a meat grinder like holy shit, isn't that more than the soviet afghan war or the Iraq war??
