   The thing I love about this thread is the time stamps. It was posted in 5/4 time; five posts in a measure and the quarter note gets one beat. I was on a cruise last year and the jazz band asked for requests. I asked the lead player if he was comfortable with 5/4 time. Without any hesitation, he hit off the best rendition I have ever heard. My ears perked up and my eyes grew large. He asked my screen name and if I play an instrument. I used to play the trumpet, but not so much anymore. He then told me he had never seen anyone in the audience so focused on hearing music. I then told him that I was autistic and music has a very euphoric effect on me and that it took a lot of energy to not drum along to it. It was a wonderful experience I will never forget.

   I played the Alto-Sax for a about 6 months but gave up.
   
   Played Synth for a while and bought a Roland D-5 and D-10 and stacked it with a Roland Juno-1 (analogue) and created some cool sound patches
   Not real good playing bass cleft thougt. so I learned by ear for a while but haven't played in 10 years.
   
   Synth Pop and Gothic is started to become popular again but I'm too old.
