the giant was kind of tame. Also, very much like this and a competitive film (like Hollywood always does.. example Armageddon vs Deep Impact) the JJ Arbams film Cloverfield (Which I think was originally called Project Cloverfield while WIP) it too is the same scenereo of US Military Industrial Complex opening a Portal just like this film. I thought maybe they were related but it would be pretty bad ass if an "Alien vs Preditor" were to happen between the Giant 8 or 9 leg creature vs the monster in Cloverfield. they made 3 Cloverfield movies where Cloverfield Lane was in Question if they were related but the Prequel kind of was lame. because it was in space instead of in a lab on earth. that has been played out with the space alien organism thing. I like the Portal to Hell instead. because our MIC keeps fucking around and this is a good parable of sort of what we're up against irl -

You didn't see the film obviously. it took the sun to set and darkness to kick in and the idiots running lights inside which clearly attracted their instinctive behavior to move towards it.
they could have stayed darker on the inside by crouching down
black people or dark skin people in the car would have attracted them less because the insects are attracted to the brighter light reflection or refraction. but they could have crouched down and taken turns popping their heads up.
