omg u bleat up your daughter????
Not quite, but I'm a similarly vile creature responsible for similarly vile things. I'm a fucked up person. Honestly, if I'd had a kid? I might have. I'm sure he's already very not proud of what he did, as I am, so shitting on him for it ain't gonna help anything. π€·ββοΈ
Like tryna shame a murderer for killing people, y'know? Either he gets it's bad and doesn't care (so shaming is pointless) or he gets its bad and already cares (so shaming is pointless). I guess there's a slim chance that he doesn't get that beating his daughter was shameful, but I dunno... he's capable of typing, so that seems unlikely.
The Persecutor: The narcissistic person in this role is typically seen as the instigator. They may use threats, blame, criticism, personal attacks, or harsh/aggressive language to establish who is the βwrongdoerβ in their eyes.
The Victim: In this case, the narcissist will present themselves as helpless, being taken advantage of, and needing rescue. By doing this, they can deflect responsibility for their own words and actions onto someone else.
The Rescuer: This role is typically filled by a narcissistβs support person. However, sometimes a narcissist will engage in this role to gain a sense of superiority. As the Rescuer, they will fix things, βsmooth things over,β and possibly accept responsibility for their feelings or behaviors to make their victims feel guilty.
