Did you know that they've done studies on pedophilia and found that a large percentage of fathers admit to developing erections at times when interacting with children, for example, frolicking with their daughters once they're at they're around 3-4 years old, particularly if their sitting in their lap. I think there is a pretty big fucking spectrum of fuckedupness between developing a boner while a little girl bounces on your lap, and watching child pornography.
I actually think it is stupid and fucked up that most elements of society treat pedophiles like they're just monsters, with no nuance or sympathy or understanding. For example, I think pedos should be able to access animated CP; it's completely victimless and I imagine it would be better than letting them remain unmilked and frustrated, because what would you rather have in the world, pedophiles who watch CP in the dark and are otherwise perfectly normal, or a horny pedophile who is getting increasingly more frustrated because he has no release?
But at the same time, acknowledge that you are munted, and seek help. I think there is plenty of evidence that pedophilia is a mental illness. For example, on average pedophiles have a significantly lower IQ than normal, and on average suffer from head injuries at twice the rate as normal. Similarly, there are many examples of people developing pedophilia and other paraphilias due to neurological abnormalities and illnesses (including brain tumors).
So in the same way as a schizophrenic, I don't think pedophiles are simply "bad". That's a super naive way to look at life. But it needs to be acknowledged, both by society and by them, that they are mentally ill, and if they have any shame or humanity, pedophiles need to acknowledge this and put aside their temporary, present idea of enjoyment or comfort from just continuing to indulge it ("who am I hurting? Why does it matter if I'm happy?") and actually seek help.

I'm not exactly a neurologist so I wouldn't know, but for example there was a case of a teacher becoming a pedoohile after developing a tumour on his brain, and then becoming normal again when the tumour was surgically removed, and then again became a pedophile when it resurged. At the very least they should go seek therapy and see if something can be done for their illness. -

Well yeah, treatment would work if the disorder was caused by a physical abnormality such as a tumor, but most deviants don't fit in that category.
I just don't think therapy can do anything more than give these people an outlet and perhaps teach them coping skills. It's an interesting subject for sure though. -
