I'm trying to remember names of groups I used to like but it's been a long time since I thought about it

if you select a group you can set it to enhancement to early 2000s

2023-07-17 at 1:21 PM UTCI used to be active in the Amiga demo scene back in the day...in that I'd watch the demos and jack off to pixelated titties.

2023-07-17 at 1:34 PM UTCI was inspired by the old 90s groups like HOGS OF ENTROPY who sound like swell chaps.lol their website still works
Also Araknet who seems to run the "Underground Demo" crypto scene, which I didn't know existed. They just have Bitcoin and ETH, fuck that how about XMR, ARRR, BNB and El Petro?? (also DASH)These are zines from people who live in, or desire to live in, a reality
https://newtotse.com/oldtotse/en/ego/on_line_zines/zines.html
that is wholly different from the one with which most of you are familiar.
Neo-Nazis, SubGenii, Conspiracy Theorists, UFO contactees, people who talk
to God and people who ARE God! I've tried to keep a very open mind about
these zines. I'd like to point out that I disagree with the goals of zines
like _Instauration_. I've disagreed with white supremicists violently
enough to carry a couple of visible scars on my face and scalp. But I claim
no monopoly on The Truth and, as was stated in the issue of Politically
Incorrect that is reviewed here, "You never know who is going to be right
about something." I would suggest using a PO Box or similar service, and,
perhaps, an assumed name, when contacting some of these groups. You won't
necessarily have anything to fear from them, but you may have troubles with
the government. My mail is being openned, and three 'gentlemen' in black
uniforms, complete with guns and big sticks, visited my mail drop and asked
for me by name.
ANSI art is like COBOL there will always be someone that needs it -
2023-07-17 at 4:39 PM UTCi fugged it up a lot but
I just saw a BUNCH of people looking for this art and a site selling BBS menus and shit OH MAN the market is hungry!

wtf are demos
ChatGPT
Demos, short for "demonstrations," are audiovisual presentations created by members of the demoscene, a computer art subculture. Demos showcase the technical and artistic skills of demoscene enthusiasts, typically combining real-time computer-generated graphics, music, and programming.
Demos are often created to push the limits of what is possible with computer hardware and software, showcasing impressive visual effects, music compositions, and coding techniques. They can be considered a form of digital art or multimedia performance.
Demos are typically distributed as executable files that can run on compatible computer systems, such as PCs or specific platforms like Commodore 64, Amiga, or modern platforms like PC, Mac, or even consoles. They can range in length from a few minutes to several hours.
Demos are frequently presented at demoparties, events where demoscene enthusiasts gather to showcase their creations, compete in various categories, exchange knowledge, and celebrate the demoscene culture. Competitions at demoparties can include categories such as demo, intro, graphics, music, and more.
The demoscene community places a strong emphasis on technical innovation, artistic expression, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the constraints of computer hardware and software. Demos are a way for demosceners to demonstrate their skills, share their creative vision, and inspire others within the community.

It was one of the most advance games at the time. they made side-scroll part 3D'esque without the engine that Wolfenstein or Doom had. but it was fluid enough it looked like a bizzare watercolor. the rest of it was like a jungle side scroll.
I think that was Flashback. Maybe Im crossing two games or platforms -
2023-07-18 at 4:48 AM UTCyeah that or Another World, which was the first time a game did full vector art instead of pixel
