But just in case you actually do find the correct link, I already said to you back in January:
Originally posted by Obbe Less than 10% were inclined towards cooling trends while the majority were inclined towards warming trends. You have failed to support your claim that there were scientists predicting an ice age and have actual demonstrated the majority of scientists at the time predicted the opposite.
I wonder why all you boomers fell for the same propaganda when 90% of the studies at the time claimed the opposite 🤔. -

Which as I countered with at the time...
10% or less are still Scientists...NOT media

You must have yours set to faggot-mode. Please change it to 50 posts per page.

As I responded back in January, less than 10% of scientists called for cooling trends, how many were calling for an ice age?
You had no response. -

No one was "calling" for an Ice age
Continued global cooling eventually leads to an "ice age"...the term "ice age" itself might be media driven but that's what CONTINUED global cooling would lead to...Semantics basically.
The point is..SCIENTISTS WERE WRONG...the media reported what those scientists were wrong about...continued global cooling (aka leading to another "ice age') -
2023-07-14 at 3:28 PM UTCHere's another example of them being wrong
1990s
In 1991, a prediction by Carl Sagan and other scientists who had worked on the famous TTAPS study on nuclear winter that massive oil well fires in Kuwait would cause significant effects on climate was incorrect.[42][43]
...not the media -

It's good to hear you have finally realized scientists were not calling for an ice age back in the 70's.
Now if only you could pull your head out of your ass long enough to realize what is going on in reality today and stop thinking about the propaganda you were subjected to 50 years ago.

Only less than 10% which is entirely normal and acceptable, that's how science works.
You're ignoring the fact that the evidence you presented back in January proved that 90% of the scientists back then were calling for warming trends - and 50 years later, they have been proven correct. But all you and every other boomer on here remembers from back then is "ice age scary", wonder why? Guess the propaganda was pretty effective. -

No...making the statement you made about it being the media that drove the idea is a falsity...the media obviously referenced quoted that 10%...they didn't make it up themselves...the "ice age" (continued global cooling) idea came from scientists...the % is irrelevant to the fact your statement was wrong.
...the media did NOT make it up...they chose to highlight a minority's predictions. -

More lies please!
Obbe probably to young to remember but I remember we was all going to have to move south because of the new ice age. lol The earth isn't static and of course the climate changes, probably has to do with the suns output more than anything. -

Yeah what some fat loser thinks is probably more likely than what thousands of people who have dedicated their lives to studying have concluded. Probably. -

So the 10% or less scientists who predicted continued global cooling are "fat losers" huh...Very scientific analysis
Still not really relevant to the fact you LIED. -
2023-07-14 at 3:55 PM UTCDude doesn't even know the difference between calling for something and predicting something.
-
2023-07-14 at 4:12 PM UTCDude would rather talk about 50 year old debunked nonsense than any of the real news or facts presented in this thread because he can't deny reality.

2023-07-14 at 4:36 PM UTCThis guy can't even link to a post correctly and thinks he's demonstrated anything
Actually, you did demonstrate that 50 years ago 90% of the scientific community correctly predicted the warming trends we experience today, so thanks for that.
