The product of his slaughtering innocent deer a few weeks ago with a bow and arrow. I'll think of the poor animals sacrifice when I'm slobbering it's meat and juices down my neck and chin.
The fat one on the left is Venison summer sausage which I've not had before...I forgot to ask him if that's cooked or uncooked...as the regular summer sausage is ready to eat out the package...Guess I'll text him and ask before I scoff it.

Best thing you can do is if it's in like the dark purple wrapper is to hang it in your basement for 2-3 weeks, like hang it up from a nail in the ceiling of the basement, and it'll pick up in flavor as it ages.
Source: I've eaten about 60-80 deer in my life.

btw the middle one is marked "white tail"...I didn't show the label because it has his name on it...It's lighter in color...maybe from a different animal?
...I'm used to him giving me the brown sausage like the one on the right

Texas I believe has whitetail and mule deer. A Texas poster on another forum was always posting about making pork sausage, hogs are feral non game animals there and you can kill all you want.

Yeah he goes hog, deer and quail hunting mostly. 3 or 4 months ago he went on one of those helicopter hunts when you hang out the door and shoot wild hogs...it was $850 per person or something. He said him and his 3 companions got over 50 but didn't bring any back..wtf...I thought I was gonna have a years supply of wild bacon.

Landowners there probably happy as fuck, hogs can cause a lot of damage. We have cross between Russian boars imported years ago by rich fucks to hunt and feral escaped hogs. They are treated as game animals but can be killed if destroying property and they are mean as fuck.
