2023-07-13 at 2:56 AM UTCmost people think it's important to learn recipes or whatever but it doesn't matter what you're working with, the methods and processes are all the same from bench chemistry and industrial chemistry/chemical engineering is just that scaled up + math if you want to do it profitably and efficiently.
I think a book that basically teaches you every process to make every drug without you ever having to touch anything illegal would be useful
pill extractions
clandestine brewing chemicals from home brewing kits and mutated yeast
ghetto column chromatography
hydrogenations at home! and avoiding explosions
catalyst beds and ion exchange resins
gaseous phase transformation hoffman rearranged protected molecule protonation.
People basically figured out how to do it ALL by the end of the USENET days and EVERYTHING SINCE is just adding more on top of that

My cousin does this stuff for a living also and has access to samples of this stuff, it's not hard to get or restricted in any way, same with the ergot LSA producing strains of paspalli and ergot endophytes I don't think anyone would get lab raided for doing research on those if they aren't producing any actual LSD.
