I thought about that recently when on twitter, and some soycuck was on that nuclear power is useless and shouldn't even be considered because new plants take 15 years to build.
That's the state of the west. There was a British Admiral called Lord Collingwood who went around planting oaks wherever he could like a lunatic, so that the Royal Navy could have good wood with which to build warships in the future (although ironically by the time the oaks were grown the technology had switched to steel).

Lots of stories about how things are "normal" and French are out doing their shopping. As if the shops being open is a guarantee of safety. Things are normal in Kiev too. Things tend to to be normal and boring, right before they get all fucked up, and then again right after. Things were normal in Algiers too, most of the time.
I don't think the Arabs and their allies will win this one, but their base of resentment has only grown stronger since their last big revolution 2005. Then the government was able to calm the banlieues down with promises and programs, wonder what they'll do this time. Back then debt to GDP for France was 66%, now it's 98%. The sooner they run out of money the better. -

Persia is a really good example of what I am talking about, because Persia used to be a really advanced society, but it became really dumbed down over time.
I'd attribute that to dysgenics - smart, capable, ambitious people moved to the cities where they failed to reproduce (cities have always been importers of people and have always been unable to maintain their populations, especially in richer cities).
Meanwhile the lazy and superstitious dumbasses tended to stay in the countryside and shit out kids with their cousins. Because Persia has been civilised and urbanised the dysgenic trend is pronounced there. -

like by how much ? how much have syria and to some extent iran sunk vis a vis their middle eastern bretherens.
to my knowledge iran and syria is still pretty much the shinning lights of "islamic" civilization. libya was fucked but that was due to a variety of other factors.
is there a chronic decline in syrian city birthrates ?
