In addition to whatever sink/drain problem you're talking about, that saturated ring on the subfloor around the toilet suggests you have a leak between the toilet and the closet-flange, though it could also be a leak elsewhere like the tank to bowl gasket that trickles down to the base of the toilet.
Leaking around the flange is usually from someone installing thicker flooring ( say going from linoleum to tile ) and not bringing the closet flange up higher, a rusted out closet flange if it's older construction ( newer ones are usually plastic ), and/or not using the proper thickness of bowl wax.......
Also an otherwise good setup can develop a leak if the toilet isn't fastened well: if it is loosely mounted and allowed to rock/wobble it will probably disturb the wax every time it wobbles, and eventually start leaking. The problem you can run into here is even if your flange is at the correct height and you use the proper bowl wax, your subfloor is already water damaged and turning to mush, so it will probably be difficult to fasten the toilet solidly without repairing the subfloor

I haven't gotten the toilet up yet as all the water shut offs are fucked and I haven't had time to fix them yet. I'm hoping that the flange is where it should be and the leak did minor damage. That subfloor is 19/32 OSB damn it. If I need to raise the flange and/or replace the subfloor I will. Looks like I'll be here a while so there is no point in cutting corners.

My biggest pain in my ass is caused by having to go to multiple hardware stores to find supplies. Yesterday I checked homedepot for washer supply connections but all that I could find were shark bite ones. I bought them but didn't want to.

That explains a lot.
Replaced the broken shut off. Slightly annoyed that the toilet flange is not already perfectly where I need it to be and also kind of sad the floor isn't the best but grateful it is not worse. I'm going to slap the floor down and use a jumbo/fiber reinforced wax ring to hopefully seal everything up good.
If u didn't know, there are 3 And 4 inch closet flanges, if you have a 3 inch , that style might be too restrictive to give a good flush, depending on your crappers design
Also b careful with that brass drain into the wall, they corrode and get fragile
Put a wadded up rag or something in that flange if you're gonna leave the toilet off, they aren't trapped so it can stink the place up
