   granddad hit a big one on the road at night, it was massive, car was written off, barely made it home. the wombat walked away.
   
   a few years ago there were people around town saying a big wombat attacked them, the guys saying it were drunks so nobody believed them. it turned up on my granddad's property and started chasing the dogs around, one of the dogs tried to bite it, the wombat charged it into a tree and the dog lost a few teeth and broke a leg.
   
   my uncle came out and cracked it in the head with a hammer, assumed it was dead, went to get a bag or something but it was gone when he got back
