   Those late night television ads you see at 3am rely on a single premise: that 0.001% of people are so dumb that they will absolutely, 100%, buy ANYTHING, as long as you tell them they HAVE to buy it. And 0.001% may not seem like much, but when they apply that to 50 million people, that's 50,000 people. So if they're making $10 off the product the stupid people will 100% buy every time you tell them to buy it, that's half a million dollars, for an ad that only costs a few thousand.

    It's always going to boil down to its most basic element, which is greed. Greed is the root of all evil. Not being happy with what you have and not making do with what you got. They always have to have more, and more, and more. Like an unusually fat man you invite over for dinner who eats his dinner, then eats your wife's dinner, then eats your dinner, closely followed by eating your kids' dinners. Eats every scrap of food on the table before anyone can even begin, but then turns and asks, "Is that all you got??". Despicable bottom feeders. Without dignity. Without personal integrity.
