KirbLaGoop is all over the place, it sounds like he's using multiple editors instead of his own production team, and his style has changed over the years. Most of his new music video releases are just updated versions of songs from his old albums, which have a much more unique DIY sound
"Young Kirby takes us on a wholesome tour of his lush suburban environs. Alas, trapping and finessing has been good to Mr. La Goop, providing him with a set of golden grills and a zip code to match. A lifestyle most would envy, cute cats and the historic Locklear Park within walking distance of his posh digs, few would recognize the now completely gentrified "100" for what it is today. Come, meander on a slow bicycle ride with the royal color draped Kirb in his Los Angeles Laker influenced ensemble...."
"nearly flawless, this is trap music in its rawest form. after over a decade in the game it is crazy how consistent Kirb continues to be and always just puts out fire music. he's fr one of the best artists to be a fan of, works with hella talented prods, fire rappers, drops constantly, and it's all quality. this tape is a perfect example, showing how effortlessly Kirb can carry an entirely solo offering with bouncy production, catchy and experimental flows, and that charm you can only get from KirbLaGoop.
also Rollin' is fucking top tier, I love Kirbs voice but this deeper delivery was really hard esp when mixed with his usual tone
