Apparently the Russians are concentrating on Ukrainian air defence, with the goal to getting their air force freedom of movement and getting it into the game (it's been largely AWOL up to now).
Ritter says Ukrainian air defence will be 0 by the end of May, and says what is happening to the AFU is more like a humanitarian catastrophe than war.
I wonder if Ukrainians are in awe at how Zelensky isn't upset at the propspect of imminent defeat.
I remember reading how the dumbass Confederate bigwigs were in awe at Benjamin Judah's "bravery" and "courage", since even as the Confederacy was being destroyed old jediy Judah was in a great mood, cracking jokes, reciting poems, and eating and drinking his fill. He later moved to England with funds he had invested on behalf of the Confederacy (read - embezzled) and took a swanky job for some co-ethnics who were enriched by Confederate military contracts (but never delivered the ships agreed).
I'm sure _elensky is similarly cheery, and looking forward to Florida, with summers in Tel Aviv, the gay capital of the world.

the papers that were supposedly leaked from the Pentagon indicated that the AFU had almost completely depleted their munitions for S-300/400 and BUK SAM complexes, and I guess it must be true because Russia's really been ramping up the use of 500-1500kg glide bombs all across the front

„ Zone of influence? LMFAO The Russian "sphere of influence" does not extend beyond the outhouses in Siberia or the camel $hit in Syria. The idea that countries formerly used as slaves by Moscow's elites in the USSR would want to return to anything related to that disaster is hilarious. But yes, the whole world is a US zphere of influence. Because even as fvcked up as its society is right now, it is still a free society. Anyone can do anything they want. It really is a very simple concept in that the person is better suited to decide his or her own fate than the government is.
