I also hate central bank fiat currency. Because they’re gross! Everyone touches it and my OCD can’t handle it. I feel disgusting whenever I hold notes or coins. Especially coins are gross to me. -

In the United States suicide has become the second leading cause of premature death among those ages 10 to 24; it is the leading cause of death among teens ages 13 to 14.
Results, published online ahead of print in the journal Annals of Pediatrics and Child Health, showed that among children ages 13 to 14, suicide rates more than doubled from 2008 to 2018, following a rise in social media and despite significant declines in suicide mortality in this age group previously from 1999 to 2007. These statistically significant increasing trends were similar by sex, race, urbanization and census regions.
From 2007 to 2018, in suicides among U.S. youths aged 13 to 14 years in metropolitan areas (large central, large fringe, medium and small), 56.7 percent were due to hanging, strangulation or suffocation, while in 34.7 percent, firearms were used. -

Both the Chinese area and European area have around 115 million inhabitants each. Are we gonna slap AC on every house and office there? How is that gonna look when we hit 40°C for 1 week, or 45°C, or 50°C?
Where will the energy for that come from? Coal? Gas? Solar doesn't scale with heat. An increase by 10°C temperature doesn't cause solar to produce the extra energy needed to offset that with AC.
Never heard of a heat hospital unit here. No plans to mitigate the urban heat island. No plans to create cooling areas with shadow and water in every neighborhood. No plans to make legal requirements for working hours during heatwaves. No legal requirements to build houses that help with mitigating heat waves. No plans to alter agriculture to work despite heat-droughts. No plans to prohibit heat-generating combustion engines in towns during heat.
They'll leave us to boil, leave our crops to wither, leave our lakes and rivers to dry up, leave us to heatstroke at work. -
