Anytime you have thousands of young men and heavy military equipment in one place you have guys getting splat. Russian Su-34 accidentally dropped what looks like a FAB-500 on the outskirts of Belgorod, flipped a car on top of a building. no injuries or deaths reported, but a shitload of property damage.
they've recently been outfitting their bombers with their version of a JDAM kit which links to the plane's avionics to determine the right time and location to release a 'dumb' bomb for it to land accurately (the US JDAMs attach to the bomb itself so the government needs to buy one per munition, Russian MIC attaches to the plane's computer to save money) so that's probably what they fucked up this time

In Belgorod, about 3,000 people are being evacuated from 17 apartment buildings within a radius of 200 meters from the explosion crater. Subscribers from Belgorod specify:
“There were originally 2 “incidents” in Belgorod. Just one air bomb exploded, and the second fell 250 meters from the first and did not detonate.
