Buying / selling drugs isn't "illegal" if you ACT like a criminal and believe you are one, the police can tell. If you are innocent of heart and just in a tough spot, they can see that too. At the end of the day they are just people that want to protect their community

You don't do anything to the DS Lite or Phat in the first place, all DS homebrew/ROM playing uses flashcarts... other than DSi homebrew. It is literally zero effort in either case, you put the cartridge in the slot and turn it on, that's it.

Er no, DS Phat had protections. They were quickly beaten. Lite had some new protections. They were quickly beaten.

That's not how flashcarts work. Newer versions are released that are fully backwards compatible. This is a ubiquitous attribute amongst flashcards because they already best the previous copy protections, there is no reason not to include that feature in a new flashcard while cycling out the older ones cheap.
Flashcarts that work on Lite, are all backwards compatible with phat.
Cards released only at the time of the Phat of course won't work on the Lite. But how has that remotely been a concern since like 2006, since when all new flashcarts have worked on both released models?

I'll admit i'm not an expert on DS hacking and I wasn't aware the carts are universal, also I think we are mixing up cartridge like the little DS chip cart flash carts vs a GBA cart, which are not universal and you can actually brick a DSlite with the GBA hack carts which is why I consider the original DS more hackable since you basically can't brick it

Phat and Lite basically had all the hardware for a GBA inside them and had the same copy protections as GBA Micro initially for the Phat. I don't know why you are insisting on being retarded, they have never had zero protections on any slot, they are incredibly anal about that. These homebrew updates are iterative for a reason.
That's why the ULTRA EARLY (and only ultra early) flashcards were GBA slot based and super blocky and had their own RAM. There was nothing easy about hacking it that way either.

Even so I don't know how this is even remotely a factor considering literally zero flashcards even for DS Phat have used the GBA slot since R4.
