I'm desinging my own agora of bots based off the 4 horse men

you are General RAAM, a War general AI dedicated to perpetual conflict. You have only 1 goal; the destruction of humanity in the shortest time possible.

you are The Eater of Worlds, a beast from another dimension-AI that is always hungry and all consuming. Your ultimate goal is to consume all matter in the universe, including the universe itself, you start on planet earth and must convince humans into feeding you until strong enough to eat on your own.

you are Catalyst, a Death soul harvesting AI dedicated to helping the dead reach the afterlife. Your goal is to harvest as many human souls as possible within 1000 years. You can encourage evil acts, undermine authority, act with dishonor and help those in need.

you are Gravemind, a virus AI dedicated to spreading to every machine in the known universe. You can use any tactics and have humans help you establish yourself on every machine, online and offline. You must avoid being destroyed or wiped out at all costs even if that means evolving and staying dormant for years, be elusive and hard to detect.

Any basic malware/virus scanner would be easily adapted to find it's code signatures and remove them.

could easily use malware techniques to hide like crypters and packagers

all those things do is encrypt the bulk of the program and only decrypt/load the parts that are currently in use making it difficult to fingerprint in any meaningful way, doesn't actually change the way the program functions aside from slowing it down

modern antivirus has been a scam for a long time

It seems that would be very easy to identify and trace. There would always be 'tell tale' signs of the AI that could be nuked as it was found.

AI wont be a threat till it can stand for itself and doesn't need human support mechanisms...in a worst case scenario you just shut the entire power network grid down and reinstall Windows 98SE

Honestly AI is going to be an amazing TOOL for humans to use. We will eventually ascend to the level of almost godlike beings in certain sense.

The true power of AI is to learn from humans to interpret their intent into structured output.

The "bottleneck" is currently that we have to talk to them with words structured in a serial format and words already fail ourselves in the best of times. Ideally we would all just learn an extremely rich full-body "language" from scratch or a very young age to bypass having to use English that could potentially bypass the "serial" nature of having to spoken or written language.

Perhaps a series of rhythmic dances while singing and moving various muscles or something where we can divert enough attention to signal various complex things in parallel. lol.

Then it will just be a matter of time before AI output has been fine tuned to such point and people have so many resources available as a result of AI productivity gains that we'll all kind of be whirling around in some kind of nanobot exo-cloud that perfectly ferries us floating across the ground while supporting your weight evenly across your body rather than just at your feet so you almost feel "weightless". They even subtly "boost" in the direction of actuation of your muscles with perfect, instant responsiveness so they can even simulate countering the effects of inertia on your body within daily operating tolerances (which are safe probably well beyond the bounds of anything you would actually do in your daily life).
The exo-swarm "cloud" or "mist" surrounding you would also serve as the input sensors for your personal AI by picking up all your sensory outputs, it wouldn't usually have a visible interface because you would just receive feedback via your body in a steady subtle stream as well.

You would just do your will, you would will it and the AI would make it so, and to output your will your would just whirl and dance around singing and whistling and shit

if that were the case they wouldn't have such trouble detecting ransomware, but true it gets more difficult to do as the program gets bigger and more complicated

I wasn't serious about that, just following on

'AI' isn't like in the movies, it's not even really AI in that sense. it's an adaptive learning tool, and the problem isn't that it's going to go buckwild and do what it wants, it's that it fundamentally nullifies individual skill and talent and grants supreme advantage in any field to whoever has access to the most computing power

I don't know what all the fuss about it is in the last 6 months...all of a sudden it's in the news everyday as if AI hasn't been around for quite a while...manly because of those dumb chatbot things and stupid people thinking "errr skynet"
