    i only buy vinegar to clean metals, i dont use as food additives/condiments.

    making normal vinegar is easy but the fancy ones are a bit more involved processes. I don't know exactly what but there's a reason they cost more/can charge more for them

    most places probably have at least 1 company making local malt vinegars or whatever but usually everyone just imports it from DA BRITS since they eat so much of it so they have factories dedicated to it

    I don't really put vinegar on my fish

    in east and south east asia rice vinegars are the norm.

    and then theres the cheaper synthetic chemical vinnygars,
