   You know how a hollow point works right?...it DESTROYS material...a beanbag doesn't.
   
   You put a hollow point in someone's head their brain is immediately turned to mush...there is no "oh let me keep going" capability from that.
   
   You shoot someone with a beanbag in the head, you temporarily stun them...but a stunned person can recover quickly and still pose a threat.
   
   ...the goal here is to STOP the threat..and permanently.
   
   Playing devil's advocate, lets say a beanbag has a 98% chance of saving you from harm...and a bullet had a 99% chance...are you willing to risk your life for 1%?
   
   If so you go ahead and keep your beanbags, I (like the cops and military and anyone with any sense) will keep using guns.
