2023-03-17 at 12:02 AM UTCThis nigga is cracking out. Love to see it but even 10 people deicating their lives to this will likely not produce any serious lasting results and imho a lot of the discoveries and technology has already been found out
I could be wrong though
The coolest thing I've seen come out lately is brewing opiates

Brewing?
I'm curious heard of this beefore -
2023-03-18 at 8:56 AM UTCYeah you can brew ephedrine
opiates
LSA
I think even Xanax now??
THEM MICOBIOLOGISTS finding enzymes for all kinds of wild shit just stick it in a yeast and go YEEEET

"If your nitemares never include metalic voices coming over loudspeakers
demanding that you throw out your five gallon plastic buckets and come out with
your hands up, congratulations…you may be on Earth.
Earth people find many wonderful uses for the humble five gallon plastic bucket, as we shall soon see.
Any earth native who wishes to produce L-PAC at home may discover these utilitarian devices to be worth well more than their wieght in gold."

Wait what now?
I don't need aa or Hella raw morphine anymore to homebake?[non sulfate, hcl] -
2023-03-18 at 11:57 AM UTCYup. If you can find a lab willing to splice the enzyme whatever onto a yeast, maybe even buy that already premade and boom you're in business.
I heard about people getting custom made LSA/Ephedrine yeasts made in indian biolabs like a decade ago so i'm sure someone has it figured out by now
Originally posted by Ghost You can also brew morphine or brew thebaine and convert that to fentanyl which probably has higher profit margin for them because of the dose cost potency of fentanyl compared to having to make 10x the amount of HEROIN from morphine with more losses in the steps and less yield, also the chemicals to make heroin are universally more watched in every major country. If it was a criminal group brewing morphine they could probably source it eventually, you can buy acetic anhydride off ebay if you don't mind paying $300 shipping. It's just a huge pain in the ass to get compared to fentanyl precursors
It's probably the ONLY opiate being "manufactured" in North America at least unless you count big legal pharma, but a lot of that is being brewed in Indian and chinese labs now it seems because Americans always bitch about how there is a shortage of everything always.
Make it yourselves, cucks.

2023-03-18 at 12:08 PM UTCWhat the fuxk. So these yeasts impregnated with certain enzymes will just create the target opiod ? Then what? Kill and micron filZter out the yeast bacteria before you give yourself sepsis trying to inject yeast fent

I'm not sure the exact details behind the reaction mechanism with the opiate one
I know for ephedrine brewing the workup from L-PAC "broth" is/was an issue with having it be a viable method. Last I heard it's *possible* to reductive amination the broth directly, I can't imagine the gunk mess from doing so, but apparently in that mess you have EPHEDRINE HCL
and if you isolate the L-PAC and reduce that directly you get higher yields (recycling the benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde was part of that too)
I'm not sure if the opiate brewing method is making something can be reduced to morphine easily or producing morphine directly but I would imagine it's similar to the L-pAC situation involving the workup of alkaloids from a "broth" there is almost ZERO underground literature about this, the l-pac stuff is mostly from the early 2000's. It wouldn't be very difficult though just a dual solvent extraction or whatever
The best I have found over the years is the occasional patent where they outline workups, it's a pretty dark unknown art. For all anyone knows there's a lab churning out kilos of REAL homebrew heroin clean with no trace of where it came from, but if that were true there wouldn't be such a strong market for fentanyl
so I don't think it's very widespread in DA UNDERGROUND in any capacity, never heard of a "opiate brewing" lab getting busted, I would be shocked to see such news if they were doing it on any real scale, it's unheard of as far as I know. -

It's illegal in my country, never been able to get my hands on it. I could probably get a kilo of RED MANG DA from a grower or something but meh, it's not very popular where I live.
Since My country is a major exporter of synthetic opiates it's probably easier to just go and buy some "purp" off da streets than order anything online

2023-03-18 at 11:09 PM UTCWow this has potential but needs research and funds. This is like some dissertation type graduate school shit breaking New grounds fr

2023-03-19 at 11:59 AM UTCDupont bought it? Holy fucking shit....this is some really good shit scronaldo. I'm gonna do some more research into it.

2023-03-19 at 12:05 PM UTCSorry I was just shitposting i didnt know you meant the opiate brewing
I actually don't know much about it, by the time I herd about it years ago I was already bored of "BREW YOUR OWN DRUGS" type chemistry as it seemed unrealistic to me at any real scale
but with the way global markets are now and recent advances in science I think this is a lot more acessible to amateur chemists. Ever since seeing this moonshine toilet paper I am thinking a lot of this isn't as hard as it seems
Biology and gene splicing seems like some future tek but probably can/should be made to be more DIY to emable clandestine drugs 2.0
Because the only economic incentive to making drugs benefits criminal organizations now, small private research is 100% cost funded
or you could start a youtube channel I suppose

yeah I think I have actually seem this exact stanford thing before. IT was all over the science news a few years ago and I haven't heard much since, I assumed industry was getting involved and figuring out how to use this to cut out reliance on agricultural and petrochemical products because those really have nothing to do with BIG PHARMA and if your in the business of making MEDICINE for a living you would ideally want to avoid buying as much raw material as you could
make everything yourself. A lot of the reason stuff like insulin costs so much is because there isn't research being put into manufacturing improvements like this because regulation doesn't favor innovation
I think you can even homebrew insulin now and probably tranny hormones/steroids too.
we working that yeast like a nigger
