I pay for pirate Plex shares specifically because I don't want to have to torrent something before I watch it, nor shit around between various different services who may or may not have a particular piece of content in particular quality.
And I already have unlimited download and ample bandwidth but not unlimited storage to load up all the new releases all the time and then browse them.
So I am willing to pay some other guys who already torrented all that shit and keeps it up to date with Radar/Sonarr for all new releases on their cloud NAS like $10/mo to stream from their server, just like a streaming service but with all the different services' content in one.
Different shares offer different kinds of content focus for different prices and you are genuinely paying for availability and curation.
I just want it to be available to watch. I'm not pirating because of not wanting to pay money, it's genuinely for convenience.
So it's worth it.
I never want to wait like 30 minutes for some movie to DL before I watch it, I just want to watch it. -

if you're willing to pay you can pay for a seedbox and stream from that -
2023-03-11 at 3:43 PM UTCI wish P2P filesharing and Blockchain and cryptocurrency tech somehow dovetailed and just made it normal to pay someone for the service of having a file available, no matter how. It would be cents paid per share and probably really hard to work out the technicalities but it would change the course of human history and the enterprise of information freedom forever.

Typical entitled attitude. I want what I want. I want it now. I don't want earn it. -

2023-03-11 at 7:19 PM UTCJust realised all I ate today was two packets of crisps and here I am tucking myself into bed. I don't want to get skinny but I'm scared I'll throw it up. If this goes on for a week I will probably need more dermal fillers in my face. I noticed my jeans didn't fit the same today.

2023-03-11 at 8:09 PM UTCHe used to watch me clean my nails, the blade
of the pocketknife slicing gently sideways,
gathering soot, the sharp point scraping
beneath each crescent. It should have hurt.
I always keep them trimmed, obsessive. I chew
them on the train when I miss a stop and get off
at his, automatic. I painted them red once,
a bloody slutty scarlet that was almost
the color of the red line, not home. I lost a nail
and kept it, an idol, a bruised artifact in a jar.
The jar’s reflection; red coffin nails trace his back
again and again until what is left is a trickle of blood
and the candles have all burned themselves out. -

How does that compare to just paying like $10 for access to a Plex share that automatically updates with content from all the major sub services of a particular type?
Cuz like I said, the experience is almost identical to using something like Netflix, but you can customize it with multiple shares.
It's easy to use it on your TV and other devices too.
Or I guess if you want to just do torrents yourself and have your own storage, you could just have your own Plex server.
The cool thing is the TV and movie based shares actually have superior quality to Netflix, Amazon. apple etc.
So if a movie is available on BluRay with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision IQ etc you actually can't even get that quality and bitrate etc on any streaming sub. It can go to like 200MBPS+ on DV content with Atmos audio.
Whereas e.g. Apple TV+ caps off at like 40 MBPS
They have Discord bot based systems where you can request any content they may not have etc as well and it does it within minutes.
I don't want to wait for any downloads, I just want to browse and stream. -
